Killing mutant carrots and exploring roguelike dungeons in Ziggurat

New, 7 comments

Ziggurat has a few interesting features that help it stand out among its roguelike competitors, not the least of which are its bloodthirsty mutant carrots. It exchanges guns for magical instruments — which, yes, occasionally take the form of guns — and has a method of character improvement that doesn't leave things entirely up to chance, which is rare for the genre. Also, it's fast as hell. Faster, maybe. It's as fast as double-hell, which is the hell bad people in hell go to when they die.

Check out the Overview above to see Nick and me take a run at Ziggurat, which launched last year on Steam, March on Xbox One and earlier this week on PlayStation 4.
