Spooky's House of Jump Scares proves that anything — and I mean anything — can be terrifying, provided that it appears suddenly, and makes an upsetting noise. The game is a weird hybrid of parody of the jump scare horror genre, and genuinely horrifying game, thanks to the grotesque monsters that will occasionally pursue you. But, for my money, it's the game's adorable ghosts, skeletons and pumpkins that possess the most potential for terror.
