All nine seasons of classic '90s sitcom Seinfeld will be available to stream this June exclusively on Hulu, the company announced today at the Hulu Upfront Presentation in New York.
Jerry Seinfeld himself revealed the news, confirming reports that Hulu made a deal with Sony Pictures Television. The exact amount of the deal is still unknown, though estimates put it between $130 million and $180 million.
"Now you will see the full thing as Larry [David] and I cut it in the '90s as we thought it was best," Seinfeld said. " ... I know from having kids it's the only way they're gonna watch it."
Hulu also announced a multi-year, exclusive deal with AMC Networks that includes Fear the Walking Dead, a spinoff of The Walking Dead, and new and upcoming scripted comedy and drama. Full seasons of these future shows will stream only on Hulu "following their network season runs."
