Nights creator Yuji Naka's Rodea the Sky Soldier comes to Wii U, 3DS on Sept. 22

Developer Prope's long in development Rodea the Sky Soldier will come to Nintendo 3DS, Wii and Wii U on Sept. 22 in North America, Sept. 25 in Europe, publisher NIS America confirmed this week. The adventure platformer from creators Yuji Naka and Zin Hasegawa will also make its way to the original Wii.

NIS America announced earlier this year it would bring Rodea the Sky Soldier stateside this fall. It confirmed that first edition copies of the Wii U game will also come with the original Wii version of Rodea.

Rodea the Sky Soldier tells the story of the eponymous Rodea, a machine soldier who awakens 1,000 years after a great war to find the sky kingdom of Garuda once again under threat from Emperor Geardo of the Naga Empire.
