New posters from Batman v Superman which showed each hero defaced with the logo of the other were tweeted by director Zack Snyder, but a new, unmarked poster has been floating around forums and social media, supposedly showing the full face of Ben Affleck's Batman.
It's certainly what we expect from this film; colorless, deadly serious and joyless. Affleck looks huge in this shot, and the cowl appears to be rigidly connected to the rest of the suit, but one of the film's designers says that's not the case.
"That’s actually one of the first things that Snyder mentioned to me in one of our initial meetings," Michael Wilkinson, Batman v Superman’s costume designer, told Fashionista. "It’s a very important thing to Zack that the Batsuit would be comfortable and very flexible, but then would be able to perform in a very natural and forceful way. So a lot of incredible engineering went into the development of the new black cowl."
