HBO Now is available, well, now on Apple devices

As promised, HBO Now is available beginning today for Apple devices, right on time for the season five premiere of Game of Thrones. The service costs $14.99 a month.

Those who sign up in the first month HBO Go is available will get that month for free. It's being billed as a 30-day trial, but it's only available for the first month. HBO Now is available through an app on Apple mobile devices, iTunes using Apple TV, or the HBOnow.com website, per the norm, for Mac.

HBO Now is also available to subscribers of Cablevision's Optimum Online.
