Aspiring Mortal Kombat X fighters can get a bundle of the fighting game and some additional content through Bundle Stars for $44.99 until Friday, April 9, at noon ET.
The bundle's contents will appear in your Steam library immediately and unlock on Mortal Kombat X's April 14, 2015 release date. Purchases of NetherRealm Studios' Windows PC version will get three Steam keys to unlock the following:
- Mortal Kombat X
- Goro, a playable former boss character with four arms
- Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, which includes fighters like Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain and Freddy Kreuger, and modes like Tag Team, Challenge and story mode
The bundle is a $34.99 savings, when compared to current Steam prices. As of this writing, Mortal Kombat X retails for $59.99, and the Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition retails for $19.99. The Premium Edition, which bundles extra characters with the Kombat Pack downloadable content, is $80.99. Goro also comes with all Steam pre-orders.
Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed the game's four special editions in early February. They range from $89.99 to $179.99 and include goodies like playable characters, skins and even a Scorpain figurine.
Mortal Kombat X is also headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One April 14. Developer High Voltage Software will deliver the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions sometime this summer.
