Fear the Walking Dead, the spinoff of AMC's popular zombie TV show, aims to offer something a little different than what fans of The Walking Dead have come to know. In a new AMC featurette, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, executive producer Dave Erickson and more talk about the upcoming show, which premieres this summer.
"The audience coming to the show, because there are so many diehard fans, you expect a certain thing from The Walking Dead," Erickson said. "We want to give that sense, and then pull the rug out from under them."
Fear The Walking Dead takes place in L.A., where it follows a new group of zombie survivors. Check out the video above for more on the show.
