Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak looks like a strong case for avoiding old houses

Crimson Peak is Pan's Labyrinth creator Guillermo del Toro's latest dark film, and so far it does not disappoint. The new trailer for the movie is filled with ghosts, ominous music and Jessica Chastain generally acting suspicious.

In addition to Chastain, Crimson Peak stars Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska and Charlie Hunnam. The film's description is as follows:

When her heart is stolen by a seductive stranger, a young woman is swept away to a house atop a mountain of blood-red clay: a place filled with secrets that will haunt her forever. Between desire and darkness, between mystery and madness, lies the truth behind Crimson Peak.

Well, the architecture of the house is really beautiful, but blood pouring from the faucets is a pretty annoying problem to have. Crimson Peak his theaters in October, proving that while del Toro may never get to make horror games — even if they're as iconic as Silent Hill we'll always have his movies.
