Here's your first look at Madden NFL 16

Today, Electronic Arts released a first-look teaser of this year's console football game, Madden NFL 16, and announced who will be featured on the game's cover: the New York Giants' Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham Jr. beat out Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown, Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski for this year's Madden cover. The cover was decided through a combination of in-game votes in Madden NFL 15's Ultimate Team mode and Madden NFL Mobile, as well as through online votes tallied on ESPN.com.

The cover features Beckham Jr. pulling off a one-handed catch, a talent that has made him eminently GIFable.

In the teaser trailer for Madden NFL 16, you can see the four cover candidates in action, culminating in, naturally, a one-handed catch from Beckham Jr. EA Sports says it's also a sneak peek at "all-new playmaking tools that highlight the battle for Air Supremacy" in Madden 16.

Madden NFL 16 will be available Aug. 25 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
