Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will be released on Oct. 13 in North America and Europe, Ubisoft announced today in a trailer for the tactical first-person shooter.

The newest Rainbow Six is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One, and features five-versus-five gameplay between terrorists and counter-terrorist operatives. Players can choose from one of 20 operators in their takedown of terrorists, who are tasked with fortifying and defending against the opposing team.

Ubisoft held an alpha test for Rainbow Six Siege earlier this year on PC. You can watch us play an early version of the game in the video below.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege was officially announced at last year's E3. The tactical shooter aims to "capture the incredible tension and unique tactics" of counter-terrorism and hostage extraction encounters.
