Nintendo bringing back some older amiibo in the next few days

Still missing out on some of Nintendo's sold-out amiibo? Nintendo is restocking some of those characters, specifically Fire Emblem's Marth and Ike and Kirby's Meta Knight, in the coming days, the company said on Facebook.

Nintendo said those older amiibo will hit store shelves "in limited quantities over the next few days" in a post on Facebook, though it didn't specify which retailers will have them. Meta Knight was originally released as a Best Buy exclusive.

Nintendo said earlier this year that it would reissue certain amiibo, like Marth, to make the figures available to customers who wanted to use those characters in new games like Code Name: STEAM. Nintendo also apologized to its customers about availability of some amiibo.

"We're trying to meet the demands of our fans and consumers by increasing the amount of amiibo we manufacture and ship to retail," Nintendo said in a statement issued earlier this month. "We may continue to see consumer demand outpace supply levels for certain characters at times, but we will do our best to prevent that from happening.

"As our library of amiibo continues to grow, some figures will be easier to find than others. We are constantly looking for the opportunity to reissue amiibo and are already making plans to bring back some currently out-of-stock amiibo figures."
