At the end of March, Stephen Amell, the star of Arrow, was reported to be cast as Casey Jones in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel. Now we have confirmation of that.
This comes from Michael Bay, who isn't the flick's director (but is the producer.) The mask style seems faithful the original design of the cartoon, though he's not caddying a golf bag full of weaponry. The scuffed hockey stick is right on schedule.
Amell reportedly beat out about six actors for the role. The as-yet-untitled sequel will release in 2016. The 2014 reboot wasn't so bad, when you think about it.
