The Evil Within concludes with its final add-on, The Executioner, on May 26

The third and final add-on for survival horror game The Evil Within is coming May 26, publisher Bethesda Softworks confirmed today alongside a new trailer. The final piece of downloadable content, The Executioner, will give players control of the character known as The Keeper (aka Boxman) in a series of first-person melee combat challenges.

The Executioner will feature a series of battle arenas in which the player faces monsters and villains from The Evil Within from an all-new perspective. Players will wield The Keeper's spiked hammer and earn new weapons and upgrades as they progress, learning more about the origins of The Keeper himself.

The final add-on completes The Evil Within's season pass. The trio of downloadable content also includes episodes The Assignment and The Consequence as part of the $19.99 package. The Executioner is also available separately for $4.99

Tango Gameworks' The Evil Within is available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. For more on the game, read Polygon's review.
