A week after its widely acclaimed introduction, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's publisher CD Projekt Red has released a trailer showing off the various international dubs for the game.
This four-minute song from minstrel Priscilla is part of the main quest. The trailer renders the song in various languages such as English, German, Japanese, Polish, French, Portuguese and Russian.
It's a curiously affecting scene. The song is supposed to be an in-story tearjerker, served up for denizens of an inn. But with the interspersed languages speaking of common human emotions, it communicates something more universal.
