The latest patch for The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt seems to have created a bug that reduces or removes the amount of experience a player earns for main and side quests, according to forum posts.
Witcher 3 bug kills experience for quests, devs on the case
Developers CD Projeckt Red write they’re aware of the issue and are working on a fix.
“We have found the issue and started working on a fix,” a developer wrote in the forums. “We’re especially sorry about this bug!”
According to a number of forum posters, the game stopped granting experience for quests sometime after the latest patch hit.
The issue has been reported on the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, though not all players appear to be impacted by the bug.
