Nintendo Direct hits Japan on May 31 to outline summer titles

Nintendo will host a Nintendo Direct on May 31 to detail the summer offerings for the 3DS and Wii U, according to the company's official Twitter account in Japan.

No word yet if North America or Europe will be getting similar Nintendo Directs.

We'll update this story if and when Nintendo announces similar Nintendo Directs for other regions.

Currently, the next planned Nintendo Direct for North America will occur the week of E3 in mid-June.
