Mortal Kombat X apparently doesn't get it that today is May the 4th, not Friday the 13th. Here's Jason Voorhees in action in the game, anyway. Warning: This is some grody stuff.
Jason is available beginning tomorrow for those who put up the $29.99 for the "Kombat Pack" season pass of DLC. Those who didn't can get him on May 12 — which is neither a Friday nor the 13th — individually or in two different DLC bundles.
The Kombat Pack will roll out special guests over the coming weeks, following the game's April 14 launch. The next movie crossover will be The Predator.
