Monster Factory is our new video series, in which we breathe life into beautiful creatures using games with robust character creation tools, and go on grand adventures with them. When choosing the right game to kick off Monster Factory, we realized that we didn't really have any choice at all: Of course it had to be Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin. It may not have the best customization tools, but it might just have the most unintentionally hilarious.
Join us as we use Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin as a vessel in which to birth our horrific vision of the classic Pokemon starter Squirtle into this world. Can we defeat, like, one enemy? Can we get this dude evolved into a Wartortle? Will he possess any fire-resistant properties? Let's find out, together.
