Hearthstone player count hits 30 million

Blizzard's collectible card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft continues to pull in a large and devoted following. Today the official Twitter account for the game announced that the game has 30 million players.

That's spread out across a half-dozen platforms, including the Android and iOS smartphones which just received the game last month.

The timing also coincides with the staggered release of Adventure mode addition Blackrock Mountain.
