Destiny players will get access to a new cooperative strike mission in the game's second expansion pack, House of Wolves, called The Shadow Thief, Bungie confirmed today.

The Shadow Thief will take players to the Moon to hunt down a Fallen mercenary named Taniks, who resides on a House of Wolves Ketch spacecraft. Bungie released first screenshots of the strike, which will pit players against a Fallen Captain and Walker.

We'll update this post with more details on the The Shadow Thief as Bungie details the mode during its House of Wolves livestream today.

In addition to the new strike, House of Wolves will include two new endgame activities: the competitive, three-versus-three multiplayer mode Trials of Osiris and a new cooperative, wave-based mode called Prison of Elders.

Destiny: House of Wolves will be released May 19. Here's everything that Bungie has revealed about the expansion so far.
