Disney Infinity 2.0 will launch on PlayStation Vita tomorrow, May 9, with a $59.99 Starter Pack sold only at GameStop, publisher Disney Interactive announced today.
The Starter Pack features the new Black Suit Spider-Man figure, which is debuting exclusively in the Vita port of Disney Infinity 2.0. You can see the in-game character in the screenshot above. Disney Interactive clarified that the Black Suit version of Spider-Man will be fully compatible with the console versions of Disney Infinity 2.0, but will be "making an exclusive debut to the Disney Infinity universe" in the Vita version.
Also included in the Starter Pack are the game itself; a wireless base, which connects to the Vita using Bluetooth; a Spider-Man Play Set piece; both Marvel Super Heroes game discs for the Toy Box; a web code card; and a USB recharging cable.
Austin, Texas-based Panic Button Games developed the Vita port of Disney Infinity 2.0. Disney officially revealed Disney Infinity 3.0 earlier this week, which will bring the Star Wars universe into the Disney Infinity franchise. However, the company has yet to announce a Vita version for that game, which will launch this fall on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
