The latest episode of Double Fine's Devs Play series features Castlevania dev Koji Igarashi enjoying a lengthy playthrough of his past work, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Igarashi is joined by Double Fine's Anna Kipnis and DDM Japan head Ben Judd. Although Igarashi has since moved on to work for ArtPlay on mobile experiences, he worked on Symphony of the Night's design, program and script, and acted as the game's co-director. During the video, he discusses how the game appeals to a female audience (and adds that Symphony of the Night was "the kind of Castlevania I want to make"), the game's music and more.
