Puzzle & Dragons Z + Super Mario Bros. Edition get free new content

Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition are getting free content, Nintendo announced today.

Both games will receive "two extra free unlockable worlds." Nintendo didn't reveal how or when that content would arrive in the games.

Puzzle & Dragons Z players can now download free weekly "distributions." According to the game's official site, those are "relics that can give you access to special dungeons." Players can find them at Ranger HQ and will need a broadband internet connection for the updates.

Nintendo and GungHo Online Entertainment announced plans to bring the popular mobile series Puzzle & Dragons to the Nintendo 3DS in January. Two games, branded together as Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition, were released last month for $29.99. A free demo is available in the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
