Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, the introspective post-apocalyptic game from The Chinese Room, will launch for PlayStation 4 on Aug. 11, creative director Dan Pinchbeck announced today via the PlayStation Blog.
Set 31 years after the world's end, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is about the people who still remain. It's heavily story-driven, and Pinchbeck describes it as beginning with some simple questions: "What happens if you remove traditional mechanics from a game world? Will that be something people will want to play?"
