Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma story trailer sets the stage for revenge

Redacted Studios today released a trailer for its manga-inspired action game Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma.

This sequel to the 2009 third-person action-slasher game is based on Takashi Okazaki's distinctively drawn Afro Samurai anime series. The first game was developed by Namco Bandai for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Former Namco Bandai senior producer David Robinson left the company to form Redacted Studios, taking the rights with him.

Today's story trailer (no gameplay is shown) focuses on central character Kuma's quest for revenge against Afro, who he blames for the death of loved ones. Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC later this year.
