A hot mike at Bethesda's E3 news conference rehearsal appears to have captured a reference to a sequel to Dishonored. It at least involves the co-director of the first game, and the president of Arkane, the developing studio.
Kotaku has the audio clip of the chatter among Raph Colantonio, president of Arkane, and Harvey Smith, the director. The conversation was picked up live on Bethesda's Twitch stream today.
It's unclear what exactly they're referring to when Colantonio says the word "honored," whether he's introducing himself or discussing a sequel. At the end of the clip, they become aware their microphones are on and cut out.
A YouTube upload of the audio was taken down on a copyright claim by ZeniMax Media, parent company of Bethesda Softworks. Bethesda itself seemed to acknowledge the glitch in this tweet.
Twitch test a success. Tune in tomorrow night at 6:45 pm PT for more surprises. #BE3

The announcement of a sequel to Dishonored, which launched in 2012, is not entirely unexpected, especially with Prey 2 officially confirmed dead. We'll know for sure tomorrow evening. Bethesda's E3 news conference begins at 10 p.m. ET.
