Just Dance 2016 coming to consoles, drops cameras for smartphone controls

Ubisoft will release Just Dance 2016 for PlayStation 4, Wii U and Xbox One, and this time the dance game will come with two key differences: Players will be able to play the game using their smartphones and have access to more music through a subscription-based music service.

Just Dance 2016 won't require a camera to play on those platforms, Ubisoft said at its E3 2015 press conference. Instead, Ubisoft said, "if you're holding a phone, you're ready to Just Dance."

Ubisoft also announced Just Dance Unlimited, a streaming subscription-based service that will bring new music to Just Dance 2016 on PS4, Wii U and Xbox One.

Just Dance 2016 will be out this October, and it appears that the PlayStation 3 version of the game will support PlayStation Move controllers while the Xbox 360 version requires Kinect.
