Shenmue 3, the long-overdue follow-up to the classic action-adventure series, has already reached its preliminary Kickstarter goal of $2 million, less than one day after the campaign went live during the PlayStation E3 press conference. With 30 days remaining in the campaign, Shenmue 3 will now climb toward its stretch goals, which include bonuses like subtitles for additional languages and a "Cinema Short" summary of the series' first two games.
You can watch the game's Kickstarter pitch video below. According to the campaign's info page, Shenmue 3 is estimated to ship to backers in December 2017, and will launch on PlayStation 4 and PC.
