StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void prologue will bridge the gap from Heart of the Swarm

StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void will come with a three-mission prologue called "Whispers of Oblivion" that will connect the game to StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, developer Blizzard Entertainment announced today during the PC Gaming Show at E3.

"Whispers of Oblivion" will be free to all Legacy of the Void players, but those who pre-purchase the game will receive early access. Blizzard will add the prologue to the Legacy of the Void beta this July. The studio has been running a closed beta for the game throughout the spring.

Legacy of the Void will focus on the Protoss, and its main character is Artanis. For more on "Whispers of Oblivion," check out the cinematic trailer that Blizzard debuted during the PC Gaming Show above. You can also read about the game's new Terran warship.
