We were critical of the amount of content that has been chopped out of Arkham Knight and given to retailers as exclusive bonuses for pre-orders; it seemed impossible to find a way to get all the content in the game without buying multiple copies of the game from multiple sources.
It turns out that while the many editions remains confusing as heck, you will eventually be able to get all the content if you're willing to pay for it.
"Sorry it took a bit to chime in here officially, but we wanted to get the details clear for our fans," the community admin posted on the game's official forum.
"Throughout the 6 months of additional Batman: Arkham Knight content, Premium and Season Pass owners will receive all in-game content that is offered through various retail pre-order incentives," the post states.
"This includes the Harley Quinn and Red Hood Story Packs, as well as any Batmobile or Booster Pack that was available as early bonuses for pre-order of the game. For those who did not receive the content with their game, these items will become available when their respective exclusivity windows expire in August/September."
So if you want all the content, pick up the premium edition or the season pass, but you're going to have to wait until the terms of exclusivity with the retailers comes to an end.
The Premium version of the game costs $99.99, while the season pass costs $39.99.
We've written about how the Witcher 3 became a hit while avoiding these complications when it comes to exclusive content.
