Capcom's Mega Man is getting a new TV show, according to a report from Deadline. The Blue Bomber will be the focus of an animated series created by Man of Action Entertainment, creators of Ben 10 and the Big Hero 6 comic, who have also worked on Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble for Disney XD.

Man of Action is working with Dentsu Entertainment to produce 26 episodes for Mega Man's new animated outing, which is expected to air sometime in 2017, when the franchise celebrates its 30th anniversary.

Mega Man previously starred in his own animated series in the mid-'90s, which was produced by Ruby-Spears and Capcom and aired for two seasons. He also appeared in DIC Entertainment and Saban Productions' Captain N: The Game Master in a supporting role.
