Splatoon is a wonderful game that may not be a shooter, but it certainly delves deep into the existential dread that may form when one is a kid for a moment before turning into a squid the next, all while faced with the horrifying pressure to always "stay fresh."

Behold the nightmare of this hellish existence. The Miiverse posts that show up around Splatoon often go from the uncomfortably surreal to the outright disturbing, and it's fun to see Nintendo begin to acknowledge this fact a bit on social media.
