This creepy new trailer for first-person horror game Perception shows how blind protagonist Cassie uses echolocation to navigate a haunted mansion and survive lurking ghouls.
The game is nearing the end of its Kickstarter campaign, currently within around $10,000 of its $150,000 target, with a few days to go. It's being developed by The Deep End Games, made up of former BioShock staff from Irrational.
Cassie's special form of vision gives the game a unique look, as well as a pretty scary system of momentary blackouts. She solves puzzles and escapes ghosts using a cane and a cellphone as well as any hiding places she can find.
Perception is due to be released on Linux, Mac and Windows PC in June 2016.
