The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes — yes, that's the actual name, with the space and everything — was one of a few genuinely surprising announcements from Nintendo at this year's E3. Above, watch 15 minutes of raw gameplay from our time solving puzzles, fighting bosses and generally wrangling cooperation out of our show floor co-op partners. When you're done, check out our interview with the game's director at E3 2015, where we discussed where the idea for a new multiplayer Zelda began, the decision to have Link cross-dress and more.

Fans of 2013's A Link Between Worlds or Four Swords Adventures will likely find a lot to enjoy in Tri Force He... I'm sorry, can we go back to the name for a second? Like, what were they thinking? You can't just take an iconic word like "Triforce," which has been spelled the same way for 29 years, and corrupt it in the service of some awful non-pun. That's not allowed! Ugh.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force [sic] Heroes comes out late 2015 on the Nintendo 3DS.
