Treyarch and Activision will give Call of Duty fans their first look at the popular Zombies mode coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 at Comic-Con in San Diego next month, according to the convention's official site.

Zombies gameplay mode director Jason Blundell will unveil "Treyarch's new mind-bending tale of the undead" and the mode's "star-studded cast" on Thursday, July 9 at 1 p.m. PT, the game's panel description reads. Treyarch promises a reveal trailer and, for attendees, limited edition Zombies memorabilia. The Black Ops 3 panel will also see the reveal of the game's collector's editions.

Treyarch revealed Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 in April. At the time, Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia said that the game's Zombies mode would feature a "totally different setting" and its own player progression mode. The only other thing we know about Black Ops 3's Zombies mode is its tagline: "Only the cursed survive."

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, which features a cooperative campaign mode and some key changes to the series' competitive multiplayer mode, will be out Nov. 6. The game is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One, with PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions also in the works.
