Street Fighter 5 will make an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con this year with a panel promising news and more. Attendees will hear from "Capcom's Street Fighter experts," as well as executive producer Yoshinori Ono.
"Learn how you can earn big money and everlasting fame by competing in the Capcom Pro Tour, culminating in the Capcom Cup Finals later this year," the panel description reads. "Plus, get a first look at all the must-have Street Fighter and SF5-licensed products and promotions in store for the rest of the year!"
It's worth noting that Capcom commonly makes announcements about its franchises at Comic-Con, from the live-action adaptation of Street Fighter to updates on working projects. San Diego Comic-Con takes place July 9-12, where Polygon will be reporting on-site. The Street Fighter 5 panel begins at 11:45 a.m. PDT on July 9.
Street Fighter 5 launches for PlayStation 4 and PC next year. For more on the game, check out our in-depth preview.
