Pixar's The Good Dinosaur has been flying pretty low under the radar, letting the imminent Inside Out take the spotlight while it waits for its Thanksgiving premiere date. But with the release of its first teaser trailer, we're getting a good look at exactly how the prehistoric picture is going to put dinosaurs and humans in the same setting.

The Good Dinosaur is director Pete Sohn's first feature film for Pixar (he previously directed the company's short, Partly Cloudy). It concerns the adventures of a young Apatosaurus named Arlo and his unlikely friendship with a primitive human, a "boy-and-his-dog" story in which the talking dinosaur is the boy, and the barely verbal boy (whom Arlo names "Spot") is the dog.
