Bethesda Softworks is giving Fallout fans an early taste of Fallout 4 today with a new addition to its free-to-play mobile game, Fallout Shelter. Preston Garvey of the Commonwealth Minutemen, seen above as he appears in Fallout 4, is a new unlockable in the iOS title.
Garvey is the first Fallout 4 character to make an appearance in Fallout Shelter, which launched on iOS earlier this month. The new Legendary Dweller comes armed with his Fallout 4 weapon, the laser musket, which Vault dwellers will be able to equip in Fallout Shelter. You'll find him in one of the game's lunchboxes.
Fallout Shelter is available for free from the iTunes App Store. The mobile simulation lets players explore the irradiated wastelands of Fallout and build, protect and repopulate their Vault. Watch Polygon's overview video of Fallout Shelter for more.
Fallout 4 is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on Nov. 10.
