Physical copies of Shovel Knight will be available in North American stores for Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 4, Wii U and Xbox One on Oct. 13, developer Yacht Club Games announced today. A PC edition will be available only in Europe on Oct. 16.
The box version of the game will include everything Yacht Club Games has released so far, including the original campaign, Plague of Shadows update — which is expected to hit digital platforms before the physical release —and Challenge mode. Future updates will also be available for free.
According to the post, more than 700,000 copies of the nostalgia-heavy, side-scrolling platformer have been sold. For more on Shovel Knight, read our review.
