The latest Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege trailer, released today by publisher Ubisoft, focuses on another one of the world's elite counterterrorism units: France's GIGN.
The trailer introduces four members of the squad, each with his or her own role. Emmanuelle "Twitch" Pichon works with a ground-based shock drone that can disable electronics or distract enemies. Gilles "Montagne" Toure leads the charge into battle with a riot shield that can absorb small-arms fire. Gustave "Doc" Kateb can heal teammates at close range with his stim pistol. And Julien "Rook" Nizan can deliver armor packs in the field.
Rainbow Six Siege, a tactical first-person shooter, is in development at Ubisoft Montreal on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. It will be available Oct. 13, with a beta set to begin Sept. 24. For more, check out the video preview below.
