Watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens' new behind-the-scenes Comic-Con footage

Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy showed up at San Diego Comic-Con today with some new footage from Episode VII of the Star Wars saga. It wasn't a new trailer — that won't be ready until the fall, Abrams said — but some behind-the-scenes footage from The Force Awakens.

If you didn't make it to Comic-Con today, the official Star Wars YouTube account thankfully uploaded the video for all to watch.

In it, you'll see video proof of the many practical effects and real sets Abrams and company are using to film the next big Star Wars movie. There are appearances from Star Wars: The Force Awakens actors Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Simon Pegg and Domhnall Gleeson, and, just as important to many Star Wars fans, footage of actual film going into a camera. But wait, there's more: Leia in uniform! Flame Troopers! C-3PO!

It's a lot to take in, so enjoy.
