Take a look at Total War: Warhammer's lion-eagle demigryph mounts

In the Warhammer universe, demigryphs are part lion, part eagle and used as mounts for high-ranking Empire knights.

This promotional video from Sega looks at how the powerful creatures are being drawn and rendered for The Creative Assembly's forthcoming strategy game Total War: Warhammer. The video looks at early sketches of the fierce creature and more recently rendered models.

Total War: Warhammer is the first time the 15-year-old Total War historical battle sim series has taken on a fantasy setting. In the game, players will lead armies from different Warhammer factors, directing real-time battle tactics as well as broader turn-based strategic decisions. The game is planned for release in 2016.
