While the industry mourns the unexpected death of Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, we wanted to take some time to celebrate the joy Iwata brought to our lives. Beyond the games he was involved in creating, Iwata was a remarkably charming and personable presence in games, a rarity for executives of his rank.
