Sony is having a big fighting game sale on the PlayStation Store

In anticipation of this weekend's big fighting game tournament — Evo 2015 in Las Vegas — Sony is offering substantial savings on a long list of fighting games for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita through the PlayStation Store.

Some of the brawlers featured in the sale include Guilty Gear Xrd Sign, Mortal Kombat X and Towerfall Ascension for PlayStation 4; Ultra Street Fighter 4, Soulcalibur 5, Mortal Kombat and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle for PS3; and Power Stone Collection, Street Fighter Alpha 1-3 and Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma for PS Vita. Those games, and many more, are being sold for up to 60 percent off their original price. PlayStation Plus subscribers can save even more on most titles.

Sony's "Knockout Sale" also extends to a long list of movies — most of which focus on the martial arts — available for sale on the PlayStation Store. Highlights include The Raid 2, Fight Club, Foxcatcher, Ninja Assassin, Machete, Mortal Kombat and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Lowlights include video game movie adaptations Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-li and Mortal Kombat Annihilation.

A full list of titles on sale in the promotion is available at the PlayStation Blog. The Knockout Sale ends July 20.
