The PC version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 — The Sith Lords, first released more than 10 years ago, just got a massive update that adds support for high resolutions, Steam Workshop and game controllers. Thanks to developer Aspyr Media, Knights of the Old Republic 2 is now also available on Linux and Mac in addition to Windows PC.

Today's update for Knights of the Old Republic 2 includes the following new features, according to an announcement posted on Steam:

  • 37 achievements to be earned through gameplay
  • Steam Cloud saves
  • Native widescreen resolution support
  • Resolution support up to 4K and 5K
  • Support for controllers, including Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4, along with several others
  • Steam Workshop support

One of the game's more popular mods, The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod, which restores some of KOTOR 2's cut content and fixes an extensive list of bugs, is already available through the game's Steam Workshop.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 is currently on sale for $7.49 on Steam, 25 percent off its normal asking price.
