It can be fun to watch a critic go absolutely ballistic over a really bad movie, and this review of the Adam Sandler film Pixels from MovieBob is definitely a prime example of the form.
It's one thing for a film to fail at its basic goals despite the best efforts of its cast and crew, but Pixels sounds aggressively bad. A movie that sounds like it had to strive for this level of cynicism and intellectual bankruptcy.
This is an entertaining look at all the things the movie gets wrong, from cashing in on gaming nostalgia to a complete lack of narrative consistency. There's good criticism behind the anger and vitriol.
