Massive Black today announced that its long-awaited Zombie Playground will be available on Steam Early Access next week.
The Windows PC build is already available to the game's Kickstarter backers, who pledged $167,590 to the action-combat game's crowdfunding campaign back in 2012. The game is based on a painting that portrays kids fighting off child-zombies on a climbing frame. Massive Black's background is in concept art. Zombie Playground was originally due to be launched in 2013.
"It's important for us to put it in the hands of more users, to receive more feedback, and in doing so, elevate the game to even higher levels of fun factor," stated an update to backers today, which added that the game will be available on July 28.
