Stoic's tactical role-playing, Viking-themed series The Banner Saga is getting a miniatures board game adaptation called The Banner Saga: Warbands, the developer announced today.
Stoic, along with publisher Versus Evil and board game maker MegaCon Games, will work together on the project. Few other details about Warbands are currently available, though it is expected to gather funding via Kickstarter "soon." A website for the game is currently online.
