You may know Attack on Titan, but you could be forgiven for not knowing Attack on Titan: Junior High, a spinoff of the original Shingeki no Kyojin manga. And now that manga spinoff has its own anime.

Shingeki! Kyojin Chūgakkō reimagines all of the show's characters (including the Titans) as all attending the same junior high school. Yes, if my memory — and that one time I sort of skimmed the first volume of the manga — serves, in this version of the story, Eren Yager hates Titans because one of them stole his lunch. Now he and his friends are starting an integrated junior high with both human and titan students, and wouldn't you know it, the massive, skinless colossus that ate his tiny human-sized lunch all those years ago is the headmaster of their new school.

Attack on Titan: Junior High will premiere in Japan in October.
